You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. Write at least 150 words.

You have recently moved into a new flat. Unfortunately, you lost some money the other day, and cannot afford to pay next month’s rent when it is due.

Write a letter to the landlord or landlady. In the letter
• explain the situation
• say that you will pay when your parents send you the money
• mention that there are some problems with the flat.

You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows:

Some people believe that women should play an equal role as men in a country’s police force or military force, such as the army, while others think women are not suitable for these kinds of jobs.

Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Write at least 250 words.
